Provident Bank Adds Retail Sales and Services Manager
Based at his administrative headquarters in Iselin, Robert Tharp has joined Provident Bank as senior vice president, director of retail sales and services, the financial institution announced on December 14.
In this role, Tharp will be responsible for developing, executing and managing the overall retail strategy and services and business development plans of Provident.
He will also lead programming and structuring for small business lending, government banking, business development and provident investment services.
With over 35 years of retail banking and sales management experience, Tharp most recently served as Senior Director of TD Bank Partnerships at TD Ameritrade. According to Provident, he has also held senior positions with TD Bank, TD Banknorth and Hudson United Bank.
