“This Thanksgiving is already special because it’s the first of This, but 2020 has made me so grateful for everything we now have in our lives,” the musician said.

When Dinner Cook gathered with his group mates to document their effectiveness as “The Man Who Loves You Most,” he told PEOPLE, “it had been months since we last saw each other. seen “amid the continuing coronavirus disaster.

“I’ve never had such a strong intuition for hugging someone like I did once we got together – but we couldn’t,” says Cook. However, he adds, “Participating together again after such a long time was like what I think a top athlete feels after being injured and then having the opportunity to play their sport again. It was so good to start doing what I love again.

“We are all fathers and husbands and produce other activities, but we are musicians and have been for much longer,” he continues. “There is positively a distinct kind of emotion attached to it. It was really amazing to be able to sing and play with others again.

The band wrote and recorded “The Man Who Loves You the Most” before this was born, Cook Dinner shares. And “now that it’s here, this song is completely different,” he says.

“All the guys already had daughters, so now that I’m a dad for the first time, I really feel more connected to them. At the end of the efficiency, you can even see Zac tearing himself up a bit, ”he continues.

“When that happens, it’s hard for all of us to sustain it collectively,” admits Cook Dinner. “We are all part of this story of having daughters together.”
